Esprit-A panels support the range of Apollo protocol devices including their range of wireless accessories and soteria devices. The panels are supplied with a 3.4Amp internal switch mode power supply module. Esprit-A panels are approved to European standards; EN54-2 & EN54-4.

The Discovery Heat Detector uses a single thermistor to sense the air temperature at the detector position. The thermistor is connected in a resistor network, which produces a voltage output dependent on temperature. The design of the resistor network, together with the processing algorithm in the microcontroller, gives an approximately linear characteristic from10ºC to 80ºC. This linearised signal is further processed, depending upon the response mode selected, and converted to an analogue output.

The Duct Detector Housing provides early detection of smoke in the air moving through heating and ventilation (HVAC) ducts in commercial and industrial premises. Its purpose is to prevent the re-circulation of smoke from an area on fire to areas unaffected by the fire when used with a XP95 or Discovery detector.

The Series 65 Optical Smoke Detector uses light sensing technology to “see” smoke entering the chamber. The external detector moulding is identical to that of the ionisation detector, and has an indicator LED which is clear in quiescent state and produces a red light in alarm.
