The Morley-IAS repeaters are compact remote control units for Morley-IAS intelligent multi protocol fire alarm control panels. These units, along with other I/O peripheral devices and theexternal printer further enhance the flexibility and functionality of our fire alarm control panel range.

The repeaters provide an extension to the operation of the fire alarm control panel. There are two types available - passive with indications only and no controls, or active with both controls and indicators. Both display the operational state of the control panel using the 80 character LCD display and the 7 LED status indicators.

In addition to the general status indicators the Active repeater is fitted with key operated "Access Enable" switch for the control functions. Individual buttons are provided for System Reset, Mute, Accept, Sound Alarms, Silence/Re-sound Alarms and Self test. Thus enabling control functions to be duplicated in strategic locations around the installation.

The Morley-IAS loop isolator module is used on the Morley-IAS intelligent fire alarm control panels to protect the system against wire-to-wire short circuits on the analogue addressable loop wiring.

The fault isolator modules should be placed between groups of sensors on the loop wiring to protect the loop if a short circuit fault occurs. If a short circuit fault occurs, the two isolators located either side of the short circuit fault will automatically sense the voltage drop, open their switches and remove the devices from the rest of the loop. If the line voltage then rises above a fixed threshold, indicating that the short circuit fault is removed, then the isolator module will automatically restore the power to the isolated group of devices.

The MI-DISO isolator uses a unique mechanical design allowing each module to be mounted either in a wall box or on a DIN rail. Irrespective of the mounting method chosen, the address switch is both visible and accessible for selection. To help engineers in the maintenance and fault finding process, both the LEDs and the address switches can be viewed without having to remove the cover of the mounting box. The LEDs, being multi colour, provide diagnostic information regarding the status of the isolator.

The system offers fire detection solutions integrated for many applications, like hotels, offices, hospitals, industrial environments and production facilities. MAx panels are not a simple FACP but an advanced very powerful fire detection system that uses the CanBus technology. This standard, originally designed for operation in industrial environments, makes the system highly resistant to external factors as electrical disturbances and other sources of false alarms. The system is certified in compliance with the standards EN 54-2, EN 54-4.

The S200A photoelectric smoke detector has a completely new detection chamber design, the result of many years of research and development. This delivers improved responsiveness, reduced sensitivity changes caused by settling dust and reduced false alarms resulting from ingress of insect and other debris. The plug-in unit uses sophisticated processing circuitry that incorporates smoothing filters to help eliminate transient environmental noise conditions that can be the cause of unwanted alarms. The devices are managed by embedded software running complex algorithms that further improve resilience to false alarms and improve detection speed.

confi guration and flexibility. A common base across AV and detectors is available, allowing for easier installation and ordering.

The call point is an addressable break glass manual call point which has a simple rotary decade switch at the rear of the unit for addressing. A specialist test key may be inserted into the bottom of the unit to lower the glass and release the micro-switch and thus a full functional test is achieved. The HM-MCP-GLASS Call Point is designed to provide a manual alarm interface to Morley IAS’s fire alarm control panel. Installation efficiency, compliance with the latest standards are at the heart of the call point range.

The MI-DCZRM addressable zone monitor module allows a zone of non-addressable devices to communicate with a Morley-IAS protocol analogue addressable system. As a result existing non-addressable zones can be integrated into a Morley-IAS protocol system.

The module monitors a zone of two-wire non-addressable devices. Each MI-DCZRM uses one of 99 available module addresses on a loop. A fault signal will be transmitted to the panel in case of an open circuit or short circuit on the non-addressable zone wiring or when the external fault input is pulled low (can beused for power supply monitoring). A flashing LED indicates that the module is in communication with the control panel. The LED latches steady on alarm (subject to current limitations).

The non-addressable zone can be powered from the analogue communication loop or from an external power supply. Where the non-addressable zone is powered from an external power supply, the communication loop is fully isolated from the non-addressable zone and from the power supply.

The zone monitor module replaces the MI-CZME but can be mounted onto a DIN rail. It can also be powered from the addressable loop and allows integration of non-addressable zones into an addressble system. This module enables non-addressable devices to be monitored by Morley-IAS protocol analogue addressable fire alarm control panels.

The Morley-IAS MI-DCMO control output module is used with the ZX series of intelligent conrol panels to provide either a single alarm circuit or Form C relay.

The MI-DCMO can be used to operte dry contacts for door holders, air handling unit shut down or other similar functions. Optionally the module can be used to supervise wiring to the ouput load providing monitoring of the external load voltage or power supply. If the monitored voltage falls below threshold then a fault condition will be indicated.

Each MI-DCMO uses one of the ninety-nine possible module addresses available on a loop. It responds to regular polling from the conrtol panel indicated by a pulsing LED every successful communication. On command from the control panel the MI-DCMO will disconnect the supervision and connnect the external power supply across the load. The disconnection of the supervision provides a positive indication to the control panel that the relay is activated. The MI-DCMO has a built-in isolator which may be switched out if required.

The MI-DCMO uses a unique mechanical design allowing each module to be mounted either in a wall box (M200-SMB) or on a DIN rail (using M200-DIN). Irrespective of the mounting method chosen, the address switch is both visible and accessible for selection. To help engineers in the maintenance and fault finding process, both the LEDs and the address switches can be viewed without having to remove the cover of the mounting box. The LEDs, being multi colour, provide diagnostic information regarding the status of the output. For ease of installation, testing and maintenance, the field wiring terminals are of a plug in design.
